Project Overview

Mount Pleasant School, a growing educational institution with a rich history of academic excellence and community impact, approached me to establish their first professional digital presence. Without an active website, the school relied on word-of-mouth and in-person visits to attract families—limiting their reach to local communities and missing opportunities to showcase their exceptional facilities, dedicated staff, and holistic curriculum. The goal was to design a modern, welcoming website that would serve as a 24/7 showcase for the school’s values, enable seamless online enrollment, and connect with parents and students beyond geographical boundaries.


The Challenge

Before this project, Mount Pleasant School faced several key limitations:

  • No Digital Presence: Without a website, the school couldn’t reach families outside their immediate community or provide a first impression to prospective parents researching options online.
  • Inability to Showcase Facilities: The school’s impressive infrastructure, including classrooms, library, computer lab, multipurpose hall, and Olympic-size swimming pool—had no visual platform to attract interest.
  • Manual Enrollment Process: Parents had to visit the school in person to begin enrollment, creating friction and potentially deterring busy or distant families.
  • Limited Staff & Curriculum Visibility: There was no centralized way to introduce the leadership team, teaching staff, or academic programs to build trust and transparency.
    These gaps hindered growth and made it difficult to compete with schools that had stronger digital outreach.

Our Solution: Addressing the Need

To position Mount Pleasant School for scalable growth and broader visibility, I designed and developed a purpose-built educational website:

  • Professional Brand Identity: Created a warm, trustworthy design that reflects the school’s heritage, values, and commitment to holistic education.
  • Comprehensive Page Structure: Built dedicated pages for Management, Academics, Facilities, Gallery, and Enrollment to guide visitors intuitively through the school’s offerings.
  • Online Enrollment System: Implemented a secure, user-friendly enrollment form allowing parents to submit applications digitally—reducing barriers to entry and streamlining admissions.
  • Visual Storytelling Through Media: Developed a dynamic gallery and facilities showcase with high-quality imagery to highlight the campus environment, extracurricular spaces, and student life.
